Gastric band hypnotherapy

In cases of morbid obesity, Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 40, or obese patients with a BMI greater than 35 with serious health issues, bariatric surgeons may advocate the fitting of a gastric band. It also means that smaller amounts of food eaten trigger the release of hormones telling the brain that the person has had enough to eat. Both effects help patients reduce calorie intake.
